Solar electric diagnostics and repair
Production down, inverter faulting, or monitoring gone dark. We find the real problem, put it in writing, and repair it only with your approval. Even if we did not install your system.
Sound familiar?
If your solar electric system is doing any of these, it is telling you something. A diagnostic visit finds out what.
Production is down
Your electric bill is creeping back up and the numbers in your app are lower than they used to be. Panels rarely fail all at once. Something specific is usually wrong.
Inverter faults
A red or yellow light, a repeating restart cycle, or an inverter that runs for an hour and then quits. Fault behavior points us toward the cause.
Error codes
A code on the inverter display or in your monitoring app that will not clear. We decode it, confirm it on site, and tell you what it actually means.
Breaker trips
The solar breaker keeps tripping or will not hold at all. That is an electrical symptom worth taking seriously, and worth testing properly.
Monitoring offline
Your app stopped reporting weeks ago and you have no idea if the system is producing at all. Sometimes it is the internet. Sometimes it is not.
Your installer is gone
The company that installed your system closed, sold, or stopped answering the phone. We service systems we did not install, and we do it every week.
What a diagnostic may include
A standard diagnostic visit is a structured evaluation, not a quick glance from the driveway. You get findings in writing, whether the news is good or bad.
- Full system inspection, from the array to the interconnection
- Electrical testing of circuits, connections, and components
- Inverter health check and fault history review
- Production measured against expectation for your system and site
- Written findings with a clear recommendation
You approve everything first
No surprise invoices and no open ended labor. Here is exactly how solar electric service is priced.
Care Elite members: your one waived standard diagnostic visit per membership year is booked through the office or Request Service, not paid online. Our office calls within one business day to confirm your address and schedule. Prefer the phone? 866-412-4218.
Membership is not insurance and not an equipment warranty. Benefits do not accumulate and unused benefits have no cash value. Priority and scheduling benefits are subject to availability.
From symptom to fixed in four steps
Request service
Tell us what the system is doing, where you are, and who installed it. Any installer is fine, including one that no longer exists.
Office review and scheduling
We confirm the scope and the approved fixed price for the standard diagnostic visit, then get you on the schedule.
Diagnostic visit
An AllSolar technician inspects and tests the system, then documents what is actually wrong, in writing.
Quoted repair, your call
If a repair makes sense we quote it for you. Nothing proceeds without your approval.
Solar electric service questions
Do you repair systems AllSolar did not install?
Yes. Servicing systems installed by other companies is a core part of what we do, including systems whose installers have closed. AllSolar Energy Inc has been a licensed Florida contractor since 1999, and we service solar electric, battery storage, solar pool heating, and solar hot water systems across 16 Central and West Florida counties.
What does a diagnostic visit cost?
The standard diagnostic visit is an approved fixed price service. Our office confirms the exact price with you before anything is scheduled, so there are no surprises at the door. Elite members receive one waived standard diagnostic visit per active membership year.
How quickly can someone come out?
Scheduling depends on where you are in our 16 county service area and on the current workload. Members receive priority scheduling on eligible services, subject to availability. Response times are not guaranteed, but we will always give you an honest picture when you call.
