Collectors
Glazing, seals, absorber condition, and mounting on flat, glazed, and evacuated tube collectors. We find cracks, leaks, and shading losses before they become failures.
Tanks
Storage tank condition, anode health, element and thermostat operation, and temperature and pressure relief. We tell you honestly when a tank is worth saving.
Pumps and circulation
Circulation pumps, check valves, isolation valves, and flow. A quiet pump is not always a healthy pump, and a noisy one is telling you something.
Controllers and sensors
Differential controllers, roof and tank sensors, and timers. Bad sensors quietly waste energy for years. We test them instead of guessing.

Florida sun is generous, but Florida water and the occasional hard freeze are not. Solar hot water systems here need a specific kind of care.

Can you service a solar hot water system another company installed?
Yes. We service systems we did not install, including systems whose original installer has closed. We work on any major brand of collector, tank, pump, and controller, and orphaned systems are a specialty of ours. Bring us the system as it sits and we will take it from there.
What happens during the diagnostic visit?
A licensed technician inspects the full loop: collector condition, tank and relief operation, pump and circulation, controller and sensors, freeze protection, and fluid condition. The diagnostic visit is an approved fixed price you know before we schedule. You receive written findings, and any repair is quoted separately with office review before payment.
Does a solar water heater in Florida really need freeze protection?
Yes. Central and West Florida see freezing nights most winters, and one hard freeze can crack a collector or burst exposed piping. Freeze protection only helps if the valves, sensors, and drain down function actually work, so we test them rather than assume. A check before winter is far cheaper than a collector replacement in January.
