How long are the panels off the roof?
The timeline follows your roofer's schedule, not ours. We remove the array just before tear off and return to reset it as soon as the new roof is finished and ready. Coordinating dates directly with your roofer is part of the service, so the panels are off no longer than the roof work requires.
Where are the panels stored during the roof work?
In most cases the panels and racking are staged safely on your property, such as in a garage or covered area, and we provide storage guidance at removal so nothing is stacked, stepped on, or exposed. If onsite storage is not practical, we discuss alternatives during the site evaluation and cover them in the written quote.
Who schedules the roofer?
You hire and schedule your roofing contractor, since the roof contract is between you and them. Once your removal and reset quote is approved, we coordinate dates directly with your roofer so removal, tear off, the new roof, and the reset line up without you playing go between.
What warranty covers the new roof penetrations?
Every mount point is reinstalled with new flashings and sealed penetrations.
